My name is Izdihar Raimi Bin Ibrahim. I am eager to apply my academic knowledge, technical skills and practical experience in a professional environment while contributing positively to your company.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons.) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). I am excited to apply for this position. My academic background, combined with my hands-on experience in environmental engineering and wastewater treatment, has strengthened my analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. I am eager to contribute these skills to your organization while continuing to learn and grow as an environmental engineer.

Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including measurement and calibration of process instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments. Familiar with reading P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and basic electrical/instrumentation drawings. Knowledge of sensors, transmitters, control valves, and PLC/DCS fundamentals.

Able to assist with troubleshooting, inspection, preventive maintenance, and installation of instrumentation equipment. Familiar with using basic testing and calibration tools and committed to following safety procedures and maintenance standards. Willing to learn and develop further technical skills in industrial instrumentation and process control.

During my internship at Staren Watech (M) Sdn. Bhd. from July 2025 to October 2025, I gained practical experience in water and wastewater treatment operations, laboratory testing, and site activities. My responsibilities included conducting water quality tests such as Jar Tests, COD analysis, pH measurement, and Specific Gravity (SG) measurement.

I also gained exposure to various water and wastewater treatment processes, including chemical dosing, flocculation, filtration, ultrafiltration (UF), and reverse osmosis (RO) systems.

Throughout my internship, I participated in several client site visits and inspections at industrial and plantation facilities. I was exposed to the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment such as carbon filters, sand filters, pumps, ultrafiltration systems, and water storage tanks. I also assisted with activities such as replacing filter media and observing treatment system operations.

In addition, I was involved in preparing and handling water treatment chemicals according to operational requirements and safety procedures. I assisted in chemical mixing, transferring chemicals into containers, preparing products for customer orders, and supporting daily production and warehouse activities. I also maintained operational records, checklists, and documentation using Microsoft Excel.

This internship strengthened my technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and understanding of industrial water and wastewater treatment operations.
