Kenny Toh

Kenny is a Senior Engineering Manager with the Altera Corp, leading a horizontal team with diverse portfolios in FPGA product development and manufacturing. The team, guided by few highly respected "chief" engineers and managers, is responsible for:

• Landing new generation FPGA product ramp in high volume manufacturing factories.
• Delivering end-to-end solution for “fabric” test content development and debug.
• Driving product health (primarily unit-to-wafer yield and test time) improvements.
• Root-causing customer return/failure with DPM coverage improvement as well as field-correction solution.
• Developing enterprise-level automation and infrastructure within product development and engineering realms.
• Pathfinding solutions and lead research to drive operational excellence in terms of cost, quality and efficiency.

His research and technical interest are in statistical computing and applied machine learning technology development with application in product engineering and manufacturing. He received the BEng (Hons.) and PhD degrees in Electronic Engineering, both from the Science University of Malaysia.
