I’m designated to hold the responsibility to ensure company assets management and delivery timeline schedule are on-time to meet client requirements regarding marine transportation assessment. This includes vessel operation, planned maintenance system, training for shore & sea-staff, company/contractor/staff HSE performance evaluation, internal audits, annual/intermediate/renewal survey, and implementation through continuously supervising of my staff's performance throughout operation hours. Furthermore, my current port management engagement has exposed me to challenges such as vessel clearance time schedules, cargo optimization including peak period handling, coordination with foreign agencies, and managing to maintain zero incident/accident at facilities.

I am the terminal organization's lead, which necessitates my prior knowledge, skills, and direct communication with stakeholders in order to maintain the capacity as terminal supply for our client transport. As a management representative, my goal is pretty much to ensure cost optimization without compromising client satisfaction and HSE policies, including HIRARC compliance set by the company.

Besides, I am a qualified internal auditor for ISM and ISPS, which is apart from my Designated Person Ashore duty. I was also certified as a Company Security Officer, as required by the ISPS Code, as a key person for shore and shipboard personnel in terms of measuring and mitigating security risks onboard the vessel. I have attended many courses which enhance my knowledge and skills in order to face the challenges in the shipping industry ahead.

Following completion of a domestic Master Science in Transportation Planning from UTM, JB, I was awarded the title of Chartered Member by the International Institute of Logistics & Transport, UK in 2011.
