Muhd Hakimi

I am a final-year Electrical Engineering student at Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) with a strong interest in power systems, renewable energy, and energy storage technologies. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed practical and analytical skills through engineering projects, industrial training, and technical simulations.

My final year project focuses on integrating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for peak shaving using MATLAB, where I performed system sizing, energy management modelling, and technical performance analysis. During my industrial training with Riajati Sdn. Bhd., I gained hands-on experience in airport electrical infrastructure projects, supporting the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Wind and Runway Visual Range (WRVR) systems across multiple Malaysian airports.

I am also experienced in automation and embedded systems through projects involving Raspberry Pi, IoT, Python programming, and sensor-based control systems. These experiences have strengthened my problem-solving, teamwork, and project coordination skills while reinforcing my passion for designing practical engineering solutions.

As a five-time Dean's List recipient, I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth. I am currently seeking opportunities as a Graduate Electrical Engineer where I can contribute to projects in power systems, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, and sustainable energy while continuing to develop my technical expertise.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Intern (Industrial Training Intern) at RIAJATI SDN BHD (2025-07 – 2025-09)

• Assisted in the installation, upgrading, and maintenance of Wind and Runway Visual Range (WRVR) systems at multiple Malaysian airports, including KLIA, Tawau, Sandakan, and Labuan.
• Participated in civil and electrical site activities such as underground cable detection, trenching supervision, cable laying, and tower alignment to support project implementation.
• Supported field engineers in system deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.

• Collected survey coordinate using Autocad and DWG FastView. Then, recorded and managed survey coordinate data for analysis, documentation, and report submission.
