I am a Medical Physics graduate with a strong interest in the radiotherapy field. Through my academic and clinical training, I have learnt and practiced fundamental clinical workflows, treatment planning concepts, and dose verification methods. My focus areas include radiotherapy operations, quality assurance, and continuous learning within a clinical environment.
I am currently seeking opportunities to apply the knowledge and practical skills gained throughout my academic journey in a professional clinical setting.
During my clinical training at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, I was exposed to nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and radiotherapy departments. In the radiotherapy department, I was exposed to radiotherapy workflows involving Varian LINAC systems, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, and brachytherapy procedures. My training included participation in treatment planning, patient-specific quality assurance, and quality control activities across radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology, and nuclear medicine departments.
Subsequently, during my trainee program at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital, I gained hands-on exposure to Elekta Versa HD LINAC operations, Monaco Treatment Planning System, and daily machine quality assurance, along with involvement in CT simulation and treatment delivery processes.
Completed a Master’s degree in Medical Physics and a Bachelor of Health Science (Hons) in Medical Radiation, both from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Gained extensive academic and clinical exposure in radiotherapy, radiation physics, and related clinical practices, preparing for professional roles in medical physics.
