I am a Registered Psychologist and Dyslexia Specialist with 26 years exp iin the field of special education in Malaysia. I founded Sri Rafelsia Sdn Bhd in year 2000 and am published - journal and book. I have focussed my special education work in the areas of psycho-educational assessments and specific learning difficulties.
I have experience in early childhood special education and dealing with medical based learning difficulties as well. I have a website and blog where I share my knowledge and experiences in the field. I also address parenting issues and behaviour management for children with special educational needs.
My experience lies in conducting psycho-educational assessments of learners aged 5- 18yrs and developing strategic goal based intervention protocols for learners within the same age range. I have done awareness talks and constantly lias with school for the academic benefit of my students. I incorperate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy strategies in dealing with behaviour in my work and work closely with parents both online for outstation clients and face to face for those in the Klang Valley.
