As a motivated Year 4 student from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), currently completing a practicum in counseling with an expected completion date of October 2024, I am seeking a counseling internship to develop my skills further and gain practical experience. I am passionate and dedicated to learning, adept at navigating diverse challenges, and committed to continually enhancing my counseling abilities.
My practical experience includes organizing and leading psychoeducation groups, mental health screenings, sex education workshops, and leadership training sessions for students of various age groups and backgrounds. I am skilled in using counseling tools such as OH cards, sand-tray miniatures, and expressive arts, and I am committed to continually enhancing my counseling abilities.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Hons) Guidance and Counseling at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), with an expected completion date of October 2024.
