AI Mobile App Developer (Flutter / Node.js)

We are looking for an experienced AI Mobile Engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria to work on an existing mobile application project.

An MVP version of the app has already been developed using Flutter (mobile) and Node.js (backend). The new user interface has already been fully designed, and we are now looking for a developer to implement the UI, expand features, and integrate AI-powered functionality.

Applicant must currently live in Lagos, Nigeria.

Project Responsibilities

• Implement the already designed mobile app UI in Flutter
• Work with the existing Flutter codebase
• Integrate additional platform features
• Work with the Node.js backend
• Implement AI-powered automation and detection capabilities
• Integrate real time functionalities such as GPS location tracking and live audio streaming
• Ensure performance, reliability, and secure handling of real-time data

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Flutter mobile development
• Experience working with Node.js backend systems
• Deep knowledge of AI / machine learning integration in mobile applications
• Experience with real time data handling
• Experience integrating device sensors, GPS, and streaming data
• Ability to work efficiently within an existing codebase

Preferred Experience

• AI-based audio analysis or sound recognition
• Edge AI or on device machine learning
• Building real time monitoring or alert systems

Engagement

• Project based (one time development engagement)
• Monthly support and maintenance opportunity after completion
