E-Commerce Manager. As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be the digital retail excellence engine, responsible for transforming our online storefront into a high-conversion, premium shopping destination that mirrors the sophistication of our physical stores. Who are we looking for?
- You own the numbersâfrom conversion rates and AOV to Customer Lifetime Valueâand you know exactly which levers to pull to drive growth.
- You have an uncompromising eye for detail, ensuring that product imagery, descriptions, and the overall digital "vibe" meet premium global standards.
- You speak the language of developers, payment providers, and UX designers, ensuring our digital backbone is fast, mobile-responsive, and secure.
- You don't guess; you test. You use analytics and A/B testing to turn "browsers" into "buyers."
- Whether it's a site outage or a payment gateway failure, you stay calm and act fast to protect the customer experience.
- You lead by example, embedding a sense of "customer obsession" and execution excellence within your team.
- You will own the end-to-end e-commerce P&L, taking full accountability for revenue targets, growth trajectories, and customer acquisition costs.
- You will partner closely with Marketing to optimize traffic acquisition across social, paid, and email channels, ensuring every marketing Naira spent translates into digital sales.
- You will translate complex performance analytics into clear, actionable improvements for product pages and checkout flows.
- You will ensure 100% brand compliance, maintaining world-class visual merchandising standards and high-quality content across the storefront.
- You will own the customer journey, from frictionless search and filtering to seamless post-purchase communication and support.
- You will act as the first line of defense for digital risks, managing site uptime, payment success rates, and customer feedback.
- You will oversee platform operations (Shopify, Magento, or custom solutions), ensuring elite site speed, mobile responsiveness, and security compliance (PCI-DSS, NDPR).
- You will manage critical integrations, including real-time inventory synchronization, payment gateways, and logistics APIs for flawless order fulfillment.
- You will lead the platform development roadmap, prioritizing new features and upgrades that deliver the highest business impact.
- You will drive customer loyalty through post-purchase engagement, win-back campaigns, and the design of high-impact loyalty programs.
- You will coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a spirit of cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
- Scaling e-commerce revenue and achieving significant GMV milestones as defined in the business strategy.
- Improving conversion rates by 20% or more through relentless UX optimization and A/B testing.
- Maintaining 99.9% site uptime and ensuring payment failure rates remain below industry benchmarks.
- Achieving high NPS (Net Promoter Scores) and increasing the repeat purchase rate through exceptional lifecycle management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a numerate discipline (MBA or professional certifications like PMP, Google Analytics, or Shopify are a plus).
- 6â10+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital retail, with a proven track record of P&L accountability.
- Deep knowledge of the Nigerian e-commerce landscape, including local payment infrastructure and last-mile logistics.
- Technical mastery of e-commerce platforms, SEO/SEM, and CRM automation tools.
- Experience scaling revenue from startup phase to high-volume commercial success.
- Managing site performance and payment gateway stability within a sometimes unpredictable digital infrastructure.
- Staying ahead of fast-changing consumer behaviors and emerging digital shopping trends in the African market.
- Balancing the creative desires of Brand Partners with the technical constraints of the platform.
