Fibre Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.
• Carry out FTTH installations and customer activations.
• Troubleshoot fiber faults and restore network services promptly.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber infrastructure.
• Perform fiber testing using OTDR, power meter, and other diagnostic tools.
• Install and configure ONTs/ONUs and related customer premises equipment.
• Prepare installation, maintenance, and fault reports.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in FTTH/Fiber Optic installation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and fault troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of GPON/FTTH networks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a resident in or willing to relocate to Warri, Asaba, or Ibadan.
