Location: Abuja, Nigeria [Hybrid]

Compensation: ₦2.1 million per month [₦2M gross + ₦100k internet allowance]

Developers are building faster than ever with AI-assisted code generation (500% YoY growth), creating massive volumes of code. Yet, the human review systems used to approve, merge, and reward that code remain entirely unchanged. The result?

OSS maintainers & engineering leads are swarmed, pull requests go stale, and bounty payments are delayed by manual processes. DevAsign fixes this broken legacy method. We are building the core operational and financial platform for open-source collaboration, utilizing AI agents for code review and Soroban smart contracts for instant bounty payouts.

We’re live and recently secured an $80k grant from the Stellar Community Fund to build & scale. ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of TypeScript and can creatively come up with solutions to solve technical problems. Our tech stack currently involves NodeJS, NextJS, Vite, and Rust (for Soroban Smart Contracts). What you'll do:

Own and evolve the core platform — improving architecture, scaling infrastructure, and shipping new product features.

Continuously improve our code review system.

Lead discussions and implementation of ongoing features.

Collaborate on our technical vision.

Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone with high agency and high urgency. Someone who cares and often obsesses over the quality and the details of their work. We care about what you've built, not how long you've been building. We need a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. You want ownership and equity in what you're building — not just a paycheck. What you need:

You've shipped products end-to-end, solo or as the primary builder. Side projects, startups, or open source—show us what you've built.

Proficiency across the stack: backend (Node.js) and frontend (Next.js) all using Typescript.

An ability to think through feature requirements and come up with high-impact ways to quickly implement them.

Experience with Rust and smart contracts is a plus.

Bonus: Experience with LLM orchestration, blockchain protocols (Stellar/Soroban), or building developer tools. THE OFFER:

₦2 million per month gross salary + ₦100k monthly internet allowance.

5% equity that will be vested across 4 years.

Hybrid working arrangement based in Abuja, Nigeria.
