Role Overview

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and loves solving hard problems with elegant solutions. You’ll lead the development of our MVP, integrating Shopify, AI APIs, and 3D try-on experiences into a sleek, mobile-first platform.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full development lifecycle of the Steeze MVP — from architecture to deployment.

Integrate Shopify APIs third-party apps (Wiser, OnYou, Affilimate).

Build the AI-powered styling quiz backend, connecting OpenAI endpoints to personalized recommendations.

Implement secure authentication, scalable APIs, and role-based permissions.

Optimize performance for mobile-first experiences.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and content strategists to ship features fast.

Requirements (Must-Have)

Strong experience with React/Next.js, Node/Django, PostgreSQL/MongoDB.

Hands-on with Shopify APIs and modern REST/GraphQL integrations.

Working knowledge of 3D rendering or avatar SDKs (Three.js, Ready Player Me) — or ability to ramp up fast.

Experience optimizing performance, auth, and security for production-scale apps.

GitHub with authored repos, not just forks.

3-6 years experience working in a similar role.

Nice-to-Haves

AI integration experience (OpenAI, Stable Diffusion).

Prior experience building e-commerce or personalization platforms.

Startup experience, MVP iteration mindset.

Contract & Location

Type: 3-month contract → full-time offer for top performers.

Hybrid: minimum 3 days onsite in Lagos, with 2 days remote for focused work.

Compensation: Competitive (₦900k – ₦1.5m per month (~USD $600 – $1k) (based on experience, skill, and speed of delivery).
