About the Role

This internship is designed for someone passionate about AI and Python who wants hands-on experience building intelligent features that enhance IoT solutions and community engagement. You won't just learn—you'll build, experiment, and contribute to real projects from day one.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing small AI tools (e.g., chatbots, recommendation engines, or basic data analysis scripts) to support community engagement and internal projects.
• Help explore how AI can enhance IoT solutions—for example, simple predictive models or automation logic for smart systems.
• Write clean, documented Python code for prototypes and demos.
• Research and summarize affordable AI tools, libraries, and APIs (like OpenAI, TensorFlow Lite, or scikit-learn) that could add value to DBS Technologies' work.
• Support the technical team in building demo projects that showcase the intersection of AI and IoT for community education.
• Document your work to build a portfolio and share learnings with the broader team.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Currently studying or self-taught in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python programming.
• Familiarity with at least one AI/ML concept or library (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or OpenAI API) is a plus—but willingness to learn matters more.
• Curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems, especially in IoT and automation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
• 2-6 hours per week availability.

A degree is not required—passion, curiosity, and a desire to learn are what count.
