We are looking for a polyglot Senior Engineer who loves building tools for other developers to transform our raw APIs into a world-class, Stripe-level developer ecosystem.
You will be responsible for the API Gateway, building and maintaining SDKs (Node, Python, PHP, Java), crafting interactive documentation, and developing the developer Sandbox environment. You should obsess over API response times, clear error messaging, and intuitive SDK syntax.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Transform raw APIs into a world-class, seamless developer ecosystem
Build, maintain, and optimize SDKs across multiple languages including Node, Python, PHP, and Java
Develop and manage the API Gateway, ensuring reliable and performant routing
Create and maintain comprehensive, interactive developer documentation alongside technical writers
Build and maintain a robust developer Sandbox environment for testing and integration
Monitor and optimize API response times and ensure clear, actionable error messaging.
Required competency and skillset to be a waver
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5-9 years of Software engineering experience with a focus on Developer experience
Polyglot programming experience with proficiency in languages such as Node.js, Python, PHP, and Java
Strong technical writing skills with a passion for creating clear and intuitive developer documentation
Experience building and maintaining API Gateways and widely-used SDKs
Obsession with developer experience (DX), API performance, and error handling
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
