Role Description The developer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, integrating databases, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. The person in this role will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, optimize existing systems, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.

Developer will also mentor other developers and support continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills with Python and deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
- Proficiency in Software Development practices, such as version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Solid experience working with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including design, optimization, and integration.
- Relevant experience in designing scalable systems, microservices, or distributed architectures.
- Ability to work on-site in Ikeja, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization tools (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
