- Conduct daily toolbox talks, plan work activities, and assign tasks to the instrumentation team
- Perform daily checks on SHE and non-SHE instruments, ensuring compliance with plant standards
- Responsible for to report unsafe condition, near-misses to avoid process or occupational incident
- Discuss about hazards, consiquences and mitigation while preparation of hazardous assement risk for critical instrument maintenance
- Responsible for to check and verify the loop nature in the DCS, PESS, PLC before executing the job
- Carry out calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and replacement of field instruments
- Arrange and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities
- Actively involved in all plant maintenance operations, including daily troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
- Highly safety-conscious, strictly following SHEM / OMS procedures and the company's safety requirements. Ensure all work follows plant safety standards, PTW and LOTO procedures
- Conduct preventive and routine maintenance of all field instruments in accordance with SABIC EHSS standard maintenance procedure OMS-312.02
- Execute calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and replacement of field instruments such as transmitters, control valves, switches, analyzers, and sensors
- Control valve troubleshooting, calibration and new installation of positioner DVC-6200 with magnetic mounting kit
- Arrange and carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) as per maintenance schedules and operational priorities
- Support and participate company On Call system design for handling unplanned shutdowns and process upsets
- Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for new projects
- Responsible for maintaining critical process control instruments by performing correct calibration, repair, overhaul, scheduled checks/test and safety controls in the plant in accordance with manufacturers maintenance manuals and Engineering standards & practices
- Coordinate with Control Room and Operations to quickly resolve instrument-related process disturbances. Support SIS/ESD system functional testing and proof testing
- Ensured safe and controlled PESSS bypassing by coordinating with operations, obtaining proper approvals, and verifying system functionality after work completion
- Provide technical support during plant start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency situations
- Command on Cause & Effects Charts, P&IDS, Loop drawings, Logic drawing Ladder diagrams And Function Block Diagrams
- Ability to find out root cause of failure of equipment like CO2, Brine chiller compressor
- Ability to check and confirm logic of loop also by-pass from PESS programmable electronic safety system, PLC Siemen, G.E, Allen bridely. Also, MMS machine monitoring system Bentley Nevada
- On-site: monitoring and supervision of maintenance (preventive, predictive, corrective) activities in accordance with approved Permit to Work and Company procedures and best practices. reporting safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment
- perform scheduled predicative preventative and proactive maintenance on plant equipment's as per approved Procedures / Work Instructions to ensure proper operating conditions of Company's assets and adherence to international standards
- Support commissioning and pre-commissioning and MOC activities for new projects
- To prepare/discuss with operation for RISK ASSISMENT for SHE Critical instrument calibration, responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service
- Continuously support to mechanical, electrical and operation during static/rotary equipment overhauling/start-up
- Coordinate all calibration with external calibration vendors for instruments that cannot be calibrated internally
- Troubleshoot DCS/PLC input-output issues, communication faults, and loop problems
- Create and close work orders SAP
