• Operates gas, A.G.O, solid fuel fired boiler
• Ensure good quality of feed water pH and TDS value
• Taking equipment record
• Undertakes brushing of boiler tubes when choked with carbon
• Clean diesel inline filters, bucket filters and photocell regularly
• Ensure daily, weekly functionality of boiler safeties like safety valve, mobrey etc
• Ensure TDS and scale formation are reduced by strict adherence of blowdown timing
• Maintenance and lubrication of forced draft fan (F.D fan), induced draft fan (I.D fan)
• Undertakes refractory works and bricks work
• Opening of blocked nozzles
• Changing of Air Pre-heater (APH) tubes
• Monitoring and controlling of plant operating parameters
• Develops training plan for team members
• Monitor machine performance
