My experience in the IT field has been interesting and informative, and I'm looking forward to joining any organization and putting my skills to use. I would be grateful if you could recommend me to help an organization achieve its goals and objectives.
My name is Abdulmalik Ololade, I am a final-year student at the University of Ilorin (B.sc Ed.
Education).
I began my career in information technology at a young age, where I was exposed to a wide range of technologies. I started coding and learned HTML and CSS while working on a few projects.
I had the privilege to be accepted as a Data Analyst (internship) by World Quant University and Hash Analytics. I completed a real-world project as part of my final assessment for Hash Analytics.
I had the opportunity to work at NOC (Network Operation Centre) during my Industrial Attachment, where I was exposed to hardware configuration and networking, as well as router and switch configuration and networking.
I interned as a Django Backend Developer intern at Linux Jobber, where I learned about Django concepts like URL routing, Models, Views authorization, and authentication.
As an inquisitive person who is fascinated by technology, I considered gaining knowledge in a variety of fields. Before becoming interested in Cloud and Cybersecurity, I decided to go through all of that to gain a basic/intermediate understanding of various fields. I've already been in the security and cloud space for two years and a few months. I've read cloud and cybersecurity books that focused on best practices in helping organizations.
I have sufficient theoretical knowledge of cybersecurity because I previously tutored over 200 students in cybersecurity. I went on to earn certifications in CyberSecurity and Cloud Computing (AWS and GCP). I had no plans to leave DevOps/Cloud. Because I believe the skills I've gained in other fields will be useful in DevOps.
My personal skills include managing and organizing a group of people, supervising projects, and directing them to areas where their abilities can be best utilized. And, as a detail-oriented person, I'm more concerned with completing the assigned task, working within time constraints, and producing the expected result.
For the time being, I am proficient in and continue to hone my skills in the following DevOps tools: Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and others. I have Hands-On Badges for practicing Kubernetes labs, and I am eager to learn and improve my skills.
