Adebo Jeremiah

Jeremiah, Suurgh Adebo is a trained agricultural extension agent by profession and practice with over twenty years in active farming where he has successfully coordinated the operations of over 300 hectares of different crops using both organic and synthetic practices. He is a dedicated agriprenuer, an innovative communicator, a Nicert, Global & Local GAP trained personnel, and an experienced agricultural professional with expertise in tasks such as crop production, crop management and fertilization, and post-harvest management, farm equipment maintenance, and field cultivation.

He has an outstanding ability to apply good agricultural skills to practice and yields excellent results from work as scheduled. He obtained a bachelor of agriculture degree (B. Agriculture, Hons) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State.

He garnered experience working as a service brigade representative with the College of Agriculture Economics and Extension, the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi Benue State. He thereafter cut his teeth as auxiliary field staff with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi research center covering Benue and Kogi states. He had also worked with Janitab Nigeria Limited Kaduna as an administrative officer.

Furthermore, he worked with Agro Park Development Company Ltd Ijale - Orile Abeokuta North as Team Lead crop production department and, he is working with Heart and Capital Nigeria Limited, Ilorin as a Senior Agronomist and Operations Manager.

I'm an experienced professional with expertise in tasks such as crop management and fertilization, farm equipment maintenance and repair, team building, and field cultivation. I have an excellent ability to apply agricultural skills to practice and yield excellent results from work.

I have successfully handled over 200 ha of both organic and synthetic crops using global and local GAP standards.

I'm a graduate of agricultural extension and rural development with the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue state. I worked with many agricultural firms for over 8 years now, one of which is Heart & Capital Nig. Ltd. as a senior agronomist and operations manager in charge of cashew, soybeans, maize, cassava, and rice farming/production.
