- Develop and maintain the business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols.
- Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions.

- Reviewing data on loss exposures and loss experience to detect emerging trends or problems
- Identifying potential operational risk exposures, evaluating potential losses from those exposures, and developing mitigation strategies for high-risk situations
- Monitoring the performance of operational risk management controls through regular audits and assessments
- Developing, communicating, and enforcing operational risk policies and procedures
