A highly teachable and adaptable laboratory scientist looking to work with skilled and dedicated healthcare professionals in an environment where I can grow and fully utilize my skills and initiatives towards the achievement of global medical laboratory best practices.
My previous experience working as Medical Laboratory Scientist Intern at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Bayelsa State, helped me expand my laboratory analytical knowledge by the time I had completed my undergraduate studies. To provide light and establish the foundation for disease diagnosis, I examined the specimen of various patients, ranging from biological assays, immunoassays, biochemical testing, cytological studies to the use of advanced biotechnology such as polymerase chain reaction. I also worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at General Hospital Patani, Delta State.
Here, I analyzed human specimens – blood, stool, urine, skin samples, and semen to diagnose diseases ranging from malaria, cholera, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, and syphilis as well as to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
