• Daily opening and closing of flange valves in accordance to the plant standard operating procedures.
• Training of newly employed trainees on how to fill different types of gas cylinders using digital scales.
• Training of newly employed trainees on how to operate fire extinguishers to fight fire outbreak.
• Operation of fire extinguishers to fight fire outbreak.
• Coupling of dry break type hose with compatible loading arm to gas truck for loading and offloading of LPG into and from gas tank.
• Checking and ensuring dial gauge or rotor gauge fitted to gas truck tank is functioning properly.
• Opening/closing of liquid and vapour lines during loading and offloading of LPG into and from the gas truck tank.
• Checking and ensuring gas truck exhaust pipe is fitted with spark arrestor during loading and offloading of LPG in the gas plant.
• Ensuring access route to safety, fire fighting and escape route are kept undisrupted at all times in the gas plant.
• Ensuring maximum speed of 10km/h is observed and maintained in the gas plant.
• Operation of installed high pressure water hydrants to fight any fire outbreak in the plant.
• Checking and ensuring exhaust system of gas truck is well fitted and without leakage before and after loading of LPG into the gas truck in the plant.
• Checking and ensuring Blind flanges are properly fitted to both liquid and vapour lines before and after loading of LPG into the gas truck.
• Checking and ensuring diesel lines is well fitted and without leakage before and after loading of LPG into the truck in the gas plant.
• Operation of electric motor controlled gas pumps.
