With over 15 years of cognate experience in welding, metallurgy, material science, oil and gas steel fabrication, inspection and test, installation, commissioning and maintenance, I am a Quality Control Welding Inspector at Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Co. Limited, a leading oil and gas company in Nigeria.

I have in-depth general understanding and thorough knowledge of international codes and standards relating to piping, structural steel, pipeline and pressure vessel fabrication, such as ASME, AWS, ANSI, API, ISO, EN, PD5500, etc. I hold CSWIP, ASNT, and ISO certifications, and I am a registered member of COREN and MNSE. I have successfully supervised and coordinated QA/QC welding inspection activities for various projects involving FPSO topside pressure vessels, pig launchers and receivers, subsea production system mudmats, and pipeline modifications.

I have strong leadership qualities, team spirit, and an ability to deliver good results under demanding circumstances. I am proactive, goal-oriented, accountable, capable of multi-tasking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. I have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.

I am passionate about ensuring the quality and safety of welded structures and products, and contributing to the growth and development of the oil and gas industry.

I have extensive experience in engineering drawings interpretation, documentation - inspection reports and record keeping, pre-welding, in-progress welding and post-welding inspection during fabrication, joint integrity hydro and pneumatic testing of welded components, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
