My name is Adewunmi Christiana Adeshina, and I am a passionate English Language Tutor dedicated to helping young learners develop strong communication skills. I specialize in teaching English grammar and vocabulary in the most simple, engaging, and enjoyable way.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literary Studies, as well as an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication. With my academic background, experience,and passion for teaching, I strive to make learning English fun, interactive, and effective.
My goal is to help every learner I teach become a confident speaker, writer, and communicator in English. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
My most recent role was as an Early Years English Language Tutor, where I had the privilege of teaching young learners at the primary level. In this role, I was responsible for delivering English lessons in a way that was simple, engaging, creative, and enjoyable, ensuring that every child could learn effectively and with confidence.
My responsibilities included teaching grammar, vocabulary, phonics, spelling, pronunciation, reading, and basic writing skills. I created interactive lessons that encouraged active participation and adapted my teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each pupil. My goal was to build a strong foundation in English while making the learning experience fun and meaningful.
One of my greatest achievements in this role was seeing significant improvement in my pupils' language skills. Many of the learners developed stronger spelling and pronunciation abilities, particularly in blending sounds to form words. Their reading confidence and overall communication skills also improved noticeably. It was rewarding to witness their growth and enthusiasm for learning, knowing that I had contributed to building a solid foundation for their future academic success.
