Clement Jackson

Clement Sarki Jackson is a Finance and Administrative professional with over 4 years of Finance, Administrative, Accounting, and Program support experience in the Humanitarian sector. I have managed various donor grants and coordinated the procurement and logistics of different projects. I have a passion for humanitarian and development work.

I have attended several Capacity development training and workshops that cut across the various components of the humanitarian and developmental sector: organizational management, proposal writing, and project management, Accounts and budget development, Basic Gender Training, Monitoring, and Evaluation as well as advocacy capacity development.

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports for the country to the FinCo for review. 
• Updating The Budget follow up and ensure monthly expenses forecast for the mission. 
• Development of Budget for the mission and monitoring of the Budgeted Cost and the actual cost, analyzing and proving technical advice to the budget holders base on cost analysis
• Being responsible for the financial management of donor contracts e.g., preparing and verifying the financial reports to donors, following up and analyzing the need for amendments. Ensuring reporting conditions are met and stakeholders in the mission are informed of their responsibilities. 
• Ensured that funds are available for operations at the office as per the Cash Management Policy. 
• Ensured the bank books and cash books were closed, reconciled using SAGA. 
• Ensured that bank books, cash books, bank reconciliations & cash counts are done on timely basis. 
• Verified and crosschecked all monthly financial documents that are correctly allocated/completed as per guidelines. 
• Liaised with Project Managers and provide the necessary support to come up with monthly cash forecasts. 
• Ensured that all procurements are in respect of procurement procedure 
• Liaised with the log department for any discrepancies and missing procedures. 
• Assisted in the preparation/processing of the monthly national staff payroll. 
• Coordinating and overseeing the payment of Tax liabilities to comply with legal obligations E.g., PAYE, NHF, PENSIONS NSITF and WHT.
