I am a Registered Nurse based in Lagos, and most of my experience has been in Accident and Emergency care. I care about my patients, I think clearly under pressure, and I communicate well with both patients and colleagues. My work has covered emergency response, triage, care planning, and teaming up with doctors and other nurses to get patients the care they need.

I am certified in BLS and CPR, and I keep learning through courses and hands on practice because nursing is a field that never stops teaching you something new.

Started in the Accident and Emergency Department, moved into Outpatient Triage, and now work in the Accident and Emergency Unit, taking on more responsibility with each move. Progressive roles across A&E Department, Outpatient Triage, and A&E Unit.

• Handle rapid assessment and triage for trauma, cardiac, and other acute cases in a busy emergency unit.
• Work with HMO representatives to get emergency procedures and admissions approved, and keep clinical documentation accurate for insurance claims and billing.
• Manage admissions, referrals, and transfers between departments, and talk patients and their families through treatment plans and costs.
• Ran triage in the outpatient department, deciding who needed to be seen first and helping physicians move through consultations and follow up visits.
• Checked vital signs, started IVs, helped during resuscitations, and kept records in the EHR, working alongside doctors and the lab and radiology teams.
• Talked patients through their medications and simple steps for staying healthy.
