Provide psyhosocial support services to individuals, families, and communities affected by crisis, conflict, displacement, or other emergencies.
Conduct psychological first aid (PFA), needs assessments, and identify vulnerable individuals requiring specialized mental health or protection services.
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, psychoeducation activities, and community-based awareness programs to promote mental well-being.
Establish and maintain referral pathways with health, protection, and social service providers to ensure comprehensive support for beneficiaries.
Monitor, document, and report MHPSS activities, ensuring quality service delivery, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational and donor standards

PSS Assistant - Danish Refugee Council DRC

Conduct a variety of structured and unstructured activities (recreational, psychosocial and informal skills training) for beneficiary, catering for psychosocial need.
Support community resource person in the implementation of vocational and skill training
Conduct recreational activities with children and adults such as sport activities, arts and crafts, dance music drama.
Facilitate the participation of all segments of the target population in the planned activities ensuring the inclusion of the most vulnerable groups
Monitors beneficiaries progress during psychosocial support activities and identify person with unusual changes in behavior or other signs of psychosocial distress for referral to a case management/PSS officer
Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principle including but not limited to: Do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality and accountability.

EMAP Community Facilitator Jere LGA - Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

Conduct community meetings, FGDs, and other direct community activities as part of protection monitoring.
Refer protection cases to partner agencies and solicit services for them.
Act as the primary contact for Jere in engaging stakeholders
Identify instances of rights violations and protection risks, reporting them to the assistant/officer
Assist in mobilizing community engagement groups for both men and women
Aid the protection assistant or officer in delivering weekly updates on activities
Support the protection assistant and office in executing project activities at the field level, ensuring thorough documentation
Ensure the integration of protection for various age, gender, and diversity groups for assistance
