Perform and record simple non-clinical tests such as blood pressure, pulse and body temperature
Assist patients with washing and going to the toilet, utilising equipment such as commodes, wet rooms and chair lifts
Distribute food and drinks during mealtimes and assist patients in eating where necessary
Catheterise patients in the absence of a nurse or doctor or in an emergency, often during night shifts
