I am all about having a tolerable experience on earth and not just existing. Thus I advocate for sustainable living, enjoy critical thinking and I’m solutions oriented. I believe that there’s always a way out- either with the options on the table, or the ones not yet thought of.
Public Health is about us and for us in various spheres, hence my interest. I am curious as to why reduction in mortality rates in developing countries have not met the benchmark rates set by multilateral organizations. This can be due to any number of factors, one of which could be that no well- suited model has been designed to appropriately account for the peculiarities of developing nations.
If this can be proven to be a major reason why such policies and programs do not solve the problems to the full extent expected, then new factors must be considered peculiar to the developing world. Targeted policies and programmes can then be tailored based on the results.
In summary, I am still searching for answers.
