Position: Airport Firefighter

Area of exposure:

• Observing aircraft arrival and departure, using the aircraft language to document the time, and airline registration number.
• communicating to the airport watch rooms and pilots for landing and take-off time in runways.
• Providing Fire cover, first aid rescue services for aircraft, and also for refueling standby using a fire vehicle
• Conducting testing of fire alarms and fire extinguishers in the airport terminals
• Providing safety training and conducting safety awareness to fuel handlers and other offices in the airport.
• Completing documents and reports regarding individual and team performance 
• Responsible for preventing, combating, and extinguishing all types of fires but primarily the aircraft fire. 
• In charge of handling aviation fuels and lubricant spills incidents involving the storage and during refueling
• Provide emergency medical services to airport employees and the public. 
• Participating in fire drills, assist in housekeeping and maintenance of the fire station.
