My name is Harry Joseph Isekoh. I am a Safety Officer with over five years of experience in construction and workplace safety.
I started as a Safety Trainer, where I educated workers on safe practices and conducted safety briefings. I later moved into a Safety Officer role with China Harbour Engineering Company, where I handled site inspections, hazard identification, and ensured compliance with safety standards.
I hold a B.Tech in Geography and relevant HSE certifications, and I’m passionate about maintaining safe work environments. I’m now looking for an opportunity to contribute my experience and continue growing in the safety field.
I have over five years of experience in the safety field. I started as a Safety Trainer at Ochacho Hotel in Abuja, where I was responsible for conducting safety training, organizing toolbox talks, and educating staff on workplace hazards and safe practices.
I later worked as a Safety Officer with China Harbour Engineering Company. In this role, I carried out routine site inspections, identified hazards, and ensured compliance with safety regulations. I enforced the use of PPE, monitored high-risk activities such as work at height, and participated in incident investigation and reporting.
I also worked closely with supervisors and workers to promote a strong safety culture and ensure that all activities were carried out safely and according to standard procedures.
I have a Bachelor of Technology in Geography from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, which I completed in 2016.
My academic background gave me a solid understanding of environmental management and risk awareness, which supports my career in health and safety.
In addition, I have obtained several professional certifications in HSE, including HSE Levels 1 to 3 and Construction Safety, to further strengthen my knowledge and practical skills in the safety field.
