First step as a full-Time resident of cardiovascular medicine working under the supervision of the head of unit, Prof. Dr. Maged Abdullah, MD cardiology and other attending consultant.

Working within multidisciplinary team of seniors and juniors in one of the top hospitals in the country with 70 ICU beds to ensure the provision of optimal treatment and integrated medical care to the patients. A part-time resident and then specialist in CCU under the supervision of the head of unit, Prof. Dr. Ihab Attia, Ain Shams University and other professors and consultant.
- Prompt evaluation and monitoring of all CCU admissions including cardiac emergencies and post-catheterization

- Respiratory support, using ventilators or other devices to assist breathing
- Cardiovascular system support, by use of fluids, inotropes and vasopressors

- Post-operative management for patients with high risk surgical procedures including pain management
