- Assist in the creation and implementation of quality policies, operating procedures, quality systems and programs which ensure proper testing, evaluation, inspection, and technical support in order to meet products quality standard.
- Supervising and guiding technicians, quality control personnel's and other employees to ensures a company's products meet high-quality standards, safe and are ready for trade or distribution.
- Assist with monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and designs strategies to reduce potential hazards within an assigned workplace or geographical areas.
- Perform documented systematic production checks (start-up, on-line release and cleaning) to ensure compliance to manufacturing processed, specifications, procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Assist with providing production personnel with all required manufacturing materials / documentation, such as required seasonings, batch numbers, manufacturing / expiry dates and fill weights forms, and ensure production documentation is completed.
- Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process.
- Review Production Batch Records and other manufacturing related documents verify compliance and record keeping for all mandated manufacturing processes, quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities.
- Participate in all regulatory, third party and customers audits and inspections, and corrective action response.
- Follow up with implemented programs (GMPs, CCP, GHP, HACCP, Allergen Control, Cleaning and Sanitation, Pest Control, Equipment Calibration, Organic Certification, etc.) to ensure compliance by all employees and other personnel in the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure good performance by mentoring and training production employees, setting expectations, providing accountability, and performing evaluations.
