WELDING & FABRICATION TECHNICIAN at Independent/Practical Experience

• Carry out a wide range of welding and metal fabrication projects.
• Fabricate and install gates, security doors, railings, canopies, pergolas, car porches and other metal structures.
• Measure, cut, assemble, weld and finish metal components according to project requirements.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools and other fabrication equipment.
• Ensure completed structures are strong, durable, safe and neatly finished.
• Interpret project requirements and determine appropriate materials and fabrication methods.
• Maintain proper safety practices while working with tools, machinery and materials.

FIBERGLASS TECHNICIAN at Independent/Practical Experience

• Build and repair fiberglass boats and related structures.
• Carry out boat maintenance and fiberglass repairs.
• Prepare fiberglass materials, moulds and surfaces for fabrication and repair work.
• Perform fiberglass reinforcement, repairs and finishing.
• Identify damaged areas and carry out appropriate repair work.
• Maintain quality, strength and durability of completed fiberglass work.
• Work safely when handling fiberglass materials, tools and equipment.
