Duties:
- Perform routine and specialized hematological, Immunological and Clinical Chemistry tests using analyzers and equipment such as MEDONIC M-series, PKL PPC 218, AUDICOM AC9900 and FINECARE (FS-112).
- Carried out investigations for adverse Transfusion reactions as well as preparation of blood components such as whole blood and fresh frozen plasma.
- Carried out microscopy procedures like filmmaking, reading and interpretation of pathological blood pictures.
- Maintained laboratory Information management System (e-Hospital) by identifying information needs, establishing security of patient Biodata and maintaining confidentiality of results.
- Engaged in pre-analytical activities such as safe phlebotomy on both in-patients and out-patients, preparation and storage of samples for further analysis.
- Carried out post-analytical procedures such as results documentation, typing and printing. Also, storage of samples for reference purpose.
- Calibration/Troubleshooting of Laboratory Analyzers/Equipment,
- Waste segregation, and management.
- Followed and ensured strict laboratory safety procedures, maintaining standard operating procedures for Equipment, internal and external quality control.

Duties:
- Performed phlebotomy, specimen collection, and reception
- Performed laboratory investigations including but not limited to microbiological assays, liver function tests, other chemistry, hormonal assays and hematological tests.
- Making use of E-PRO (Laboratory Information Management System) to key in and organize patient results and personal information.
- Sending results to patients through E-mail.
- Making sure that problems are resolved through accuracy, precision, medical research, exploring answers, and alternative solutions.
- Maintained laboratory standards and quality control of procedures and reagents.

Duties:
- Participated in documentation and record-keeping in the laboratory.
- Carrying out laboratory investigations in the Hematology, Chemical Pathology, Blood bank, Immunology, Histopathology, and Medical Microbiology sections of the laboratory
- Assisted in phlebotomy and collection of samples for analysis across the various departments of the laboratory.
- Calibrating, maintaining, and operating standard laboratory equipment e.g. Centrifuges, Autoclaves, pipetting machines, and PH meters
- Preparing specimens and samples (weighing, mixing, leaching and cutting, etc.), media, reagents, and other materials for testing.
