GEOSCIENTIST at Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Co Limited (SEEPCO) (2019-06 – Present)

Currently, I am working as an Interpretation Geoscientist in STERLING OIL EXPLORATION AND ENERGY PRODUCTION CO LIMITED (SEEPCO), an Exploration & Production Company based in Nigeria, from June 28, 2019.

• Worked across exploration, appraisal, and development campaigns in the Niger Delta.
• Independently performed seismic interpretation and proposed appraisal wells in the Gangola Basin, a frontier basin.
• Devised and conducted seismic interpretation study utilizing 3D seismic interpretation software to create synthetic seismograms, Isochrone maps produces sub surface maps (Isochrone and Isopach maps)
• Multi-Attribute analysis to increase confidence on lead /prospect.
• Quick look well log interpretation.
• Have knowledge about seismic interpretation utilizing 3D Seismic Interpretation software’s (Petrel & Kingdom)to produces Sub-Surface maps(time & depth) and, volumetric determination of resource potential.
• Have ample experience in Seismic-to-well tie, different depth conversion methods.
• Experience in Prospect generation, Drilling location identification and support.
• Visited Well site and carried out well site duties on land rigs in Nigerian Oil and Gas fields.
• Collaborated with senior Geologist / Geophysicist in idea and prospect generation with respect to the Niger delta basin.
• Have a good idea in Quantitative interpretation (QI).
• Worked with Seismic Acquisition and processing team and have basic knowledge about seismic data acquisition and processing.
