As a Senior Technical Officer, my roles are, Repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment, Plan and Execute Projects related to vessels maintenance and dry docking, Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal downtime, Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality equipment and services for mechanical operations, Diagnosing engine defects and carrying out repairs and maintenance on engines, Record keeping and preparing maintenance schedule, Conducting routine inspections and surveys of mechanical assets to identify and address maintenance and repair needs. Etc.
In addition, I have good Microsoft skills, reports/presentations skills, interpersonal and communication skills. I am a fast learner, possessing transferable skills that are applicable to different roles. Having been through some form of regimented training, I am physically fit, a great team player and my motivation is excellence.
