Karen Njweng

My name is Karen Njweng. I am a holder of a Bachelor and a Master's degree in English. Presently, I am a PhD student while teaching at Rousseau International School, Bonapriso, Douala, Cameroon.

I also hold a Diploma in English A: Language and literature (Cat.2). Actually, I have a background knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum. I am passionate, honest, duty-conscious, punctual, flexible and determined in whatever I set out to do. My communication skills adds credibility to my efforts and gives me the confidence I need for my job.

I started teaching in the Nursery and Primary School in 2010, after obtaining a Teacher's Grade One Certificate (CAPIEMP) from the Presbyterian Teacher Training College, Mbengwi before moving to the university of Yaounde 1, Ngoa-Ekele in 2012 where I obtained my BA in 2015 and MA in 2021 whilst teaching. I have taught in more than six schools in the South West and Centre Regions of Camroon. I taught English Language for two years in a Nursery and Primary School, and the following years in a Secondary and High School.

At the Masters level, I studied courses related to several aspects like English Language Teaching and Learning, Research Methodology, Business Creation, Information and Communication Technology, Research Seminars, English Phonology, English Syntax, Morphology and Social Science Statistics among others.
