Kayode Adeniran

I am a clinician and a trainer (Paediatrics) with over 16 years experience. I am also passionate about treating children with endocrine and metabolic diseases, where I have some additional training and experience. I am an examiner in the West African College of Physicians (faculty of Paediatrics) for more than 6 years. I have contributed in producing young consultants for the west African subregion.

I have worked in multi (national and cultural setting) . I am adaptable and resilient , so I can integrate into new settings almost seamlessly. I posses excellent interpersonal communication and professional relation and skills consequently a good team member. I am a critical and reflective thinker with good problem solving skills. I am obedient to the rules and regulations of my employer.

• I am adept at providing high standard clinical care and expertise in assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in general Paediatric, endocrinology and metabolic diseases.
• I lead clinical teams in clinics and ward rounds where I see patients and manage them as a specialist ( general Paediatrics) or subspecialist.( Paediatric endocrinology and metabolism) and I also teach and mentor junior doctors. 
• I participate in post call meetings, handover rounds, ground rounds, clinicopathologic conferences, seminars, journal club and mortality review. Teaching and providing leadership.
• I participate in writing treatment guidelines or protocols for management of cases. I also write teaching curriculum.
