- Review, develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to aligned with industry standards.
- Develop, facilitate and oversee HSE training programs in line with project needs and ensure employees are competent and aware of their HSE responsibilities.
- Lead projects equipment premob inspections, assemble the different subject matter experts that will participate in the inspection, debrief & collate the findings, share the outcome of the inspection with the various project managers and chase the closure of nonconformance.
- Contingency management (hydrocarbon). Respond to chemical release, mobilize responders to assess the leak points, activate notification form A, B & C cleanup report. EGASPIN guideline.
- Provide overall support for the HSE program and drive the desired HSE culture to reach Organizations goal of Zero HSE incidents within the assigned project sites.
- Review all the project-related HSE and Work Procedures support the site HSE activities with the Contractors HSE Officers and ensure that they discharge their roles addition collate HSE site reports and submit same to the Line/Head HSE Technical and the relevant Project Team.
- Supports the implementation of HSE Campaigns Integrated Safe System of Work (PTW, JHA ,TBT, SIMOPS, MOC, LOTO, CSE, Unsafe Acts, Auditing & Inspections HSE Walkabout etc.) in the project sites to entrench best practice HSE culture save lives and prevent major accidents.
- Support the implementation of HSE tools and techniques at the activity areas and consistently manage Personal Safety Risks to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) preventing harm to personnel.
- Support implementation of all other HSE processes, Meetings Audit/Inspections,Drills, Training Incident Reporting/Investigation etc. are being adhered to in accordance with Project HSE Clause in Contract Construction Site Safety Standardization (CSSS) & IOGP/577 and legislated standards for Health Safety and Environment.

- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental issues to management and staff.
