I am currently a trustee for Al-Nijah which is a registered charity providing services for young children and women, especially from a South Asian origin, to advance education and promote social inclusion. My role involves assisting in activities and workshops delivered. This involves assisting with ESOL classes, often translating when required. I also carry out weekly sessions, every Saturday, with children aged between 5 and 18.
