Drilling professional with 33+ years of experience across drilling operations, wellsite supervision, rig management, well control, completion and workover operations. Progressive field experience from Trainee Driller and Driller through Night Pusher, Wellsite Drilling Engineer, Tool Pusher, Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Superintendent. Extensive exposure to HPHT, high-pressure tight gas, H₂S and CO₂-bearing wells, shallow and deep wells, severe lost-circulation zones and challenging formations.

Strong technical knowledge of well design, BHA and drill string design, drilling fluids, hydraulic optimisation, casing and liner operations, cementing, stuck-pipe recovery, fishing, well control and completion operations. Experienced across both company-owned and contract rigs, with responsibility for drilling programmes, HSE, operational planning, contractors, service providers, equipment, resources and cost control.

Drilling planning and execution for Zahrah North-1 and Wasu-1, including preparation and review of drilling and completion programmes.

Responsible for overseeing Schlumberger SLR 223 Rig (2000 HP).
Wasu-1, Badin: Night Company Man responsible for direct supervision of night drilling operations.
Operational planning, job supervision, HSE and environmental compliance, resource management, quality control and emergency response.

Three rigs under supervision: POL SCR Rig – 1,500 HP, KCA Deutag T-75 – 2,000 HP, Exalo Rig-304 – 2,000 HP. Drilling and workover operations across company-owned and contract rigs, with responsibility for safe and efficient execution, equipment readiness, personnel, services and operational resources.

Drilling programme review covering well design, casing, BHA, hydraulics, mud plan, bit selection, cementing and rig selection.
HPHT drilling in the Potohar region, Kohat Basin and D.G. Khan region, including high-pressure tight gas wells and wells containing H₂S and CO₂.
Well-control situations, including killing wells in accordance with established well-control procedures.
Complete-loss zones and severe lost circulation treated using LCM and cement plugs.
Stuck-pipe operations using free-point indicators and string shots, including differential stuck-pipe recovery through underbalanced operations with controlled pressure reduction.
Application and evaluation of MPD, NBD and under-reaming for challenging and creeping formations.
Casing and liner running and cementing operations covering 30", 26", 24-1/2", 20", 18-5/8", 13-3/8" and 9-5/8" casing, as well as 7" and 4-1/2" liners, including cement squeezes and cement plugs.
Oil and gas well completion involving gas lift, ESP and conventional multiple-packer completions.
More than 30% reduction in NPT through pre-job planning and QA/QC.
Drilling services, rig budgets and drilling programmes for JV operations involving PPL in Adhi Field, MOL in TAL Block and OGDCL in Pindori Field.
Pre-spud meetings, HSE inspections and audits, well reviews, quarterly operational reviews and operational presentations.
24-hour look-ahead planning with rig supervisors and follow-up of material requirements and critical shutdown items.
