I love taking care of people and making their life easier in any way I can. Stabilization Centre Nurse - Action Against Hunger

• Carries out first Aid care and treatment according to protocols in case of emergency and rapidly alert the medical activity manager/line supervisor in charge
• Ensure that patient with lack of autonomy are assisted regarding their feeding, personal hygiene, movement, personal comfort or any emergency that may arise
• Ensure patients who are enrolled into the therapeutic Feeding programme both at SC and OTP level are well received and taken care of, reporting and tracing of absentees and defaulters through the IEC
• Carry-out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients meaning assessment of their health state evaluation, and identification of emergency situation or any deterioration
• Participate in health education of the patient (and family) when necessary
• Participate in collection, encoding analysing and reporting epidemiological data
• Participating in preventive, reaction and routine immunisation in the hospital and community at large
• Respect medical secret and confidentiality Ensure relevant transfer of information to the next duty team (especially the identification of at-risk cases)
• Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising for patients in the services as well as the loss/robbery/damage of medical equipment
