An ex-Indian naval helicopter pilot with over 43 years of flying, operating in diverse offshore environment including day and night Search and Rescue, helicopter winching, load lift operations etc in the military. A Qualified flying instructor (QFI) in the military, responsible for initial helicopter training and multiengine conversion training on large helicopters such as the Sea Kings including supervisory roles to standardise other instructors. In the recent years, gained over 10 years of experience in offshore operations across Nigeria as a helicopter captain for Shell Petroleum /AGIP /TOTAL and other ad hoc charters for passenger and aerial flight operations.

• Offshore Helicopter Captain for approved Shell Petroleum /AGIP /Total/ Amini with extensive experience in Niger Delta and deep-water offshore operations.
• Night Medevac duties from Warri and Port Harcourt for SPDC/ Total/Amini.
• LTC with Caverton Helicopters and base FDM representative.

(2006 - 2014-03)

• Company Fleet Captain for AW139 Fleet. Set up initial flight operations for the company and was responsible for standards for the AW 139 fleet.
• Line Training Captain on AW 139.
• Concurrently flew AW139 and Bell 412 Day/ Night Offshore Captain.
• Completed AW139 type rating and initial flight training with Era helicopters, Lake Charles, USA in 2009.

23 years naval career.

• Flew multi-purpose, all weather operations on Sea King Helicopters (SH 61), on Alouette III in multiple domains. Day night winching, SAR and load lift experience on SH 61.
• Qualified as a Flying Instructor from Flying Instructor School (FIS) Indian Airforce, and served as TRE/TRI on Alouette and Sea King helicopters. Experienced in ab-initio helicopter flying training with over 1000hrs instructional flying (ab-initio conversion) and operational roles.
• Over 1000hrs instructional flying (ab-initio conversion).
