Survey contractor /chief surveyor at MSS COAL LIMITED (2024-08 – Present)

• Conducting topographic surveys and mapping mine sites
• Collecting and analyzing data on mine layout, excavation, and ore reserves
• Ensuring compliance with mining regulations and safety standards
• Providing accurate measurements and calculations for mine planning and operations
• Collaborating with mining engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting on mine progress, volumes, and stockpiles
• Managing survey equipment and data, such as GPS and GIS systems

Mines Surveyor at ZUMA COAL LIMITED (2022-05 – 2025-07)

• Obtain field data using various survey tools like GNSS, Total Station, Survey grade drones, amongst other survey tools
• Conduct surveys to obtain data used in planning mining operations
• Survey and calculate volume of material deposits, spoil piles, or veins, overburden to be removed, coal exposed and coal mined
• Draft maps, drawings and create a database of survey data including development layouts, production drill mark-ups and miscellaneous layouts
• Update relevant amps, drawings and databases with any amended information
• Assist with project proposals, design layout and pick-up of drill/blast and digging areas
• Direct and assist team members in use of electronic surveying equipment, system, or other instruments to transfer surface survey positions and directions to underground areas and to survey designated location
• Compute survey and data, such as volume of ore/coal driving and connecting underground passages to control direction and extent of mining operation
• Effectively liaise and communicate and maintain a good relationship with team members, contractors/suppliers and other stakeholders as required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and all related legal/statutory regulations, policies and procedures, codes, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and inserts as applicable.

Surveyor at China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) (2018-06 – 2021-12)

• Prepare the project construction survey plan according to the construction organization design, construction drawings and construction schedule
• Execute field survey exercises using modern survey equipment
• Cooperate with the constructor to complete the inspection of the construction process according to the construction organization design, and fill in the surveying records
• Responsible for engineering survey and retest work, and make surveying records and drawing variation records.
