Nengi Diri is an award-winning screenwriter and content creator with a versatile portfolio spanning film, TV, and branded content. Named one of the best screenwriting students at the 2019 Africa International Film Festival, Nengi has written documentaries, reality TV content for shows like Ariya Omoluabi and De9jaSpirit Talent Show, and served as Content Director and Producer for Channels TV’s original series Fund it Forward.
Her cinema debut, MAKEMATION, is Nigeria’s first film exploring AI, and her international credits include the feature Once Upon a Honeymoon on Prime Video (US/UK/AU). A former Senior Editorial Staff at Pop Central, she has led teams of content writers and created high-impact campaigns and content for brands like Coke, Fanta, Sprite, and MTN, including the MTN Mega Billion Promo Show.

Nengi Diri holds a B.Sc. in Human Physiology from Rivers State University (2022). She studied Screenwriting for TV Shows at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2017 and returned in 2019 to study Screenwriting for Film, where she was recognized as one of the best students in her class.
