My engineering journey started in the year 2021 (which happened to be my service (NYSC) year) at Dangote Cement PLC. I served in the capacity of an Electrical/ Instrumentation Intern. Being practically exposed to the field for the first time, I participated in the maintenance of slip ring induction and squirrel cage induction motors, control panels and junction boxes; Installation of fluorescent tubes, chokes, and starters; Visual Inspection of machinery and equipment; Installation of Instruments such as thermocouples, limit switches, proximity sensors, pneumatic valves, and drift sensors.
Fastforward to 2022, since being gainfully employed, I have participated in activities such as raising punch points for instruments installed; performed visual inspection on cabinets using GA (General Arrangement) drawings, inspection of valves and junction boxes; carried out Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and Bill of Material (BOM) Check.
On a very personal level, I developed keen interest in design in the year 2018 and went further to run a short course in the use of solidworks. Having done a few projects using the software, I realized it was something that I would love to develop myself on as I already consider it one of my skills. I look forward to developing myself in the use of AutoCAD as well and acquiring more knowledge as I progress in the course of my career.

I graduated in the year 2019 from Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Delta State from the department of Electrical Electronics Engineering. Ever since then, I have developed myself furthur by obtaining a certification in Solidworks, running short courses in Project management, and Health Safety and Environment.
