Noreen Punzalan

I am an experienced English tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic and language-learning goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education, Major in English, as well as a Diploma in Linguistics, which have provided me with a strong foundation in English language teaching and language acquisition. Over the course of my career, I have taught in the Philippines (10 years), South Korea (2 years), Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, and almost 2 years in the UK, giving me more than 30 years of international teaching and technical experience and the opportunity to work with students and professionals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

Throughout my career, I have successfully taught both high school and university students, supporting them in English language development, literature, academic writing, British History, and examination preparation. My teaching approach is structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. Whether a student is building confidence in spoken English, strengthening grammar and writing skills, preparing for university examinations, or developing academic English, I strive to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.

I believe that every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit their needs, enabling them to develop not only their language skills but also the confidence to use English in academic, professional, and everyday situations.
