Mechanical Engineer at Mantrac Nigeria Limited (2022-01 – Present)
- Conducting Maintenance and repair of all Caterpillar Engines both Gas and Diesel engines(35-series and C-series) in the offshore and onshore platform area and as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting.
- Carrying out major overhaul, repairs, installation and commissioning of reciprocating equipment such as gas and diesel Engines.
- I use Caterpillar ET to diagnose and troubleshoot when theirs a problem on site.
- Carryingout predictive maintenance inspection, testing and adjusting base on the equipment running hours such as valve lash, valve height measurement, injection height measurement, Cylinder Head tightness, taking oil sample for oil analysis, vibration measurement, crankshaft deflection measurement, Gas leakage test,taking water sample for cooling water test etc, both Gas and Diesel Engines.
- I also carried out maintenance and repair on Atlas Copco and Gardener Denver instrument air compressor.
- Utilize various Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for operation, control, monitor and troubleshooting.
- Understanding and applying Safe Practices in an offshore environment.
- Monitor and record plant operating parameters, make adjustment as required to ensure a safe and efficient running of the plant.
- I also carryingout maintenance and repair on pumps, valves and actuators.
- I took Hourly meter reading to ensure proper documentation of export power and sending the data.

- Running hours Maintenance activities including in-frame/zero overhaul on twelve(12) gas fueled (W20V34SG) Wartsila, 10 Megawatts output according to OEM maintenance guidelines.

- Manning and Operation of eleven (11) industrial Gas generators Jenbacher with 3.3MW each, in a 36MW power plant station for production.
- Carrying out scheduled Maintenance and servicing of the Engines at preventive maintenance due hours of 2000 and 30,000 running hours etc.
- Monitoring and recording of Engine performance data and ensuring that Engines perform within safe range.
- Keeping record of all maintenance activities and ensuring proper housekeeping practice.
- performing start-up and shutdown procedures and regulate equipment operations
- Calibration of HT Vessel 3.5 bar,LT vessel 1 bar, water jacket vessel 1.7 bar in other for the engine to maintain it's pressure why in operation.
- Topping up coolant(mixture of Total WT Coolant Supera and DM water) into the water line such as LT water line 1.6 bar,HT water line 4.5 bar and water jacket line 2.5 bar.
- In every 1000 running hours alternator bearings (DE & ND) will be greased with 50g grease in each bearing.
- In every 2000 running hours maintenance, (1) The Air Filter will be removed both Bank A and B, replaced with new ones and fixed back. (2) Oil Filter will be removed and replaced with new ones. (3) Old Oil will be drained out of Engine completely and New oil will be filled up inside the Engine at the normal level. (4) Main Gas filter will be removed, replaced with new ones and installed back. (5) All the valve cover will be removed both Bank A and Bank B. The Valve height Measurement will be conducted after that, the valve cover will be installed back. (6) Greasing of throttle valve arms. (7). Inspection of spark plug (8) Decarbonization of Charged air cooler
