- Managing strategic procurement for Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Sierra Leone.
- Developing procurement strategy for the West Africa Cluster and leading the implementation.

- Collaborating with other members of the team to plan activities for the year.

PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTATION
- Undertake defined threshold procurement process cycle activities for the cluster or where requests are received.
- Harmonizing procurement activities with all SBUs within the cluster that will be geared towards efficiency, benefits generation and better value for money.
- Recording of cashable/non-cashable benefits in the pipeline after the commencement of each procurement action for Nigeria.
- Coordinate trainings and refresher seminars for SBUs in the cluster on global procurement policies.
- Produce and submit progress reports on procurement initiatives and achievements in Nigeria.

SUPPLIER AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Support effective management of the vendor contracts.
- Support vendor evaluation as per contract KPI and service level agreement.
- Reporting of cost reduction after contract is signed for Nigeria.
- Coordinate training sessions for strategic suppliers in the cluster to build relationships, value for money maximization and initiate / present sustainability culture tasks with vendors such as environmental risk, EDI, child protection, data security, modern day slavery, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, as well as GDPR update.
- Coordinate trainings and refresher courses for strategic suppliers/consultants in the cluster on the use of In-Tend tool.
- Produce life contracts for Vendors on Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
- Contract negotiations and Strategic vendor management especially on hotels, travels, catering services and others.

RISK MANAGEMENT
- Incorporate risk management tool that is flexible and dynamic to the cluster business and supply market that ensures risks are mitigated and /or transferred appropriately.
- Take practical steps to discourage the use of Single Sourcing within the cluster.
- Implement and monitor all Audit action points for the cluster.
- Ensure due diligence is attained during vendor registration process on SAP.
